My Story
Hello!
I would first like to introduce myself and tell you just a little bit about myself. My name is Amanda Robbins and I am a Lead Consaltant with Scentsy family. I was born and raised in Hinckley, Minnesota. When I was a junior in high school I moved to Florida with my parents. I enjoyed 7 years down there and decided it was time to move back to Minnesota after I reconnected with my now husband at my brother's wedding. My husband and I got married in January of 2009. My husband and I have a sweet little 6 year old and 6 month old who are the love of our lives. We are currently living in Sandstone, Minnesota.
My love for Scentsy started about 4 years ago. I was introduced to Scentsy from a consultant that was also selling Grace Adele. I fell in love right away! When I first started to fall in love with Scentsy my husband would say to me "buy what you would like I don't mind whatever makes you happy." I went with a few different scents and of course it was hard to choose what one I liked the most. As I would warm the scents my husband would comment on how much he liked the scents and then got involved when I would order and put his two cents in of the ones that we had to have that time. My oldest daughter also liked to put her two cents in on what buddy that she had to have at the time. It became a family affair when we would order because we all had our favorites on what we liked and what we needed to have.We started to explore more and started using the laundry line and of course fell right in love with that also. I love how my clothes smell! We get compliments all the time on how our clothes smell. I just love everything that I have used. My all time favorite scent is luna, my husband's is black raspberry vanilla, and my daughter's is jammy time. As time went on my consultant and I would talk about me joining the team but the time wasn't right for me. I am always on the go and with a young little girl going here and there I kept telling myself I don't have the time. My daughter got so familar with our consulant's house when we would drive by she would say "there's Scentsy Jen's house!" I had a few basket parties here and there and sold to family, friends, and co-workers. Finally my husband and I sat down and talked about me joining and at that point it wasn't even a question anymore it was time for me to get on board and start sharing the love that I have for Scentsy. My daughter now calls me Scentsy mommy! She still says that Jen is her favorite Scentsy person who I am now under.... With time I hope she changes her mind to mommy being her favorite!
I have enjoyed getting the starter kit and seeing my daughters eyes light up! She now has numerous every single buddy ever made and lines then up and says "mom I am going to help you sell Scentsy" as she is modeling all her buddies and explaining how the scents go in them. She is a GREAT little sales person! She loves to look at the catalogs and make her wish list of buddies, warmers, and bath things. The smile on her face lets me know I made the right choice to chose the Scentsy family and this is truly a family business. I am looking forward to see where this journey takes me. I can't wait for what the future holds for my family and me!
